bio-ferm works on the development, international product registration and marketing of innovative biotechnological plant protection products in viticulture, pome fruit, berries and tomatoes. Mode of action: Microorganisms isolated from nature and fermented in the laboratory act as antagonists and prevent specifically the infection by pathogens - no chemical residues, no resistances, non-GMO production and registered for IP and organic growing systems. bio-ferm is part of ERBER Group.

Business Development Manager (m/f)


As Business Development Manager at bio-ferm you are one of our key persons on the market with a clear focus on strategic business and sales development. You will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with R&D and Registration.


These are the tasks we trust in you:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow our business successfully in existing and new markets
  • Be responsible for the further development and realization of sales and business opportunities
  • Ensure the implementation of the marketing action plans and bio-ferm brand in our target markets
  • Visit our key customers to ensure a strategic customer relationship management and our distributors
  • Proactively support our distributors to grow and develop further sales channels
  • Monitor the market situation (market development & competitor analysis) and develop/execute relevant actions
  • Participate in international events and conferences
  • Provides Management review and reports as requested according to our company policies


To leave real 'foodprints' with us you need the following skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in sales/business development in the agriculture business preferably in the plant protection or related industry  
  • Educational background in agriculture, plant science, phytopathology, or similar
  • Understanding of market principles and a growing network in the industry
  • Not afraid of challenging the status quo while being able to convince decision makers, both external and internal
  • Excellent communicator and able to deal with cross-functional and intercultural teams
  • Fluent English skills

  • Based on your classification in our ERBER Group career model, your professional experience and your qualification, we offer you an attractive total compensation package starting at € 65.000 gross p.a. (full-time incl. fix and variable components)
